ZimbOriginal
Supporting Learning and Discovery
The Blog
After constantly struggling to find answers on indigenous practices and language aspects, I decided to do some exploring of my own, and from there created ZimbOriginal.
Through my experiences and interactions from the blog, I went on to build a library, with the hope of promoting reading and cultural awareness among young learners in Zimbabwe.
The blog documents stories of my encounters, experiences, and research on all that is indigenous to Zimbabwe!
Library & Shona Learning
ZimbOriginal helps children not just learn Shona, but live it. Through personalized 1-on-1 coaching and my Book Club, kids gain confidence speaking, reading, and understanding Shona — all while connecting more deeply with their roots.
Whether your child is starting from scratch, building up their confidence, or preparing for exams, I provide the tools, practice, and support to make learning natural, fun, and empowering. Week by week, they grow fluent, confident, and proud of their language and heritage.
The Library is available on learn.zimboriginal.com.
