Definitions
ndima: Portion of field allotted to one for weeding. Piece of work.
Translation
A piece of work once started has progressed.
Inspiration
Many smallholder farmers in Zimbabwe rely on manual weed control using hand hoes. This is labour intensive and slow. Traditional weeding practices involve designating portions of field for weeding one at a time, or allotting portions to different individuals.
Application
Sometimes getting started is all it takes to get ahead.
Even a daunting task will not seem as overwhelming once started.
